Support: training from technicians, mentorship by board members, possibility of being kept on post scheme
We are looking for a trainee ceramics technician who can support our team in running the technical aspects of our studio. The trainee will be trained by our ceramics technicians, and responsibilities will gradually grow as the person becomes more confident and skilled in the role. Alongside this, the trainee will be mentored by a member of our board, who will support them in thinking through career plans and job prospects going forwards, as well as supporting them to attend external training and relevant events. As a small charity running with a small staff team and volunteers, we especially value applicants who have a can-do forward thinking attitude and a passion for the arts, who are able to work on their own as well as with other team members. They will be expected to take initiative and show a positive and proactive approach to tasks alongside the other staff members and volunteers.
Deadline for applications: 21st of February
Interviews will be carried out on the 28th of February.
