We have a limited number of wheels available, please book a wheel in advance of your drop in session by emailing us at info@dundeeceramicsworkshop.com.
1-1 Sessions
Wheel Throwing:
- Tutorial for one from £96.00
- Tutorial for two from £120.00
- Tutorial for one from £84.00
- Tutorial for two from £108.00
Please note that these prices are for tutorial time only. If you wish to fire any work made in a 1-1 session, this will incur an additional cost dependent on the size of the work/materials used.
Materials
Buff clay – £2/ kg
Stoneware clay – £3/kg
Underglaze – £3/30g jar
Decorating slips £3/30g jar
Translucent glaze – £2/small items, £3/medium items, £4/large items
Colour glazes – £4/small items, £6/medium items, £8/large items
Kiln Bookings
Our Kiln is available to book by Dundee Ceramic Workshop members – if you would like to fire in our kiln, you need to join as a member first. Full terms and conditions and prices can be found here.
A firing form must be included with any work submitted to the workshop for firing. You can download one here.
Please note that, due to demand, it can take between 2-4 weeks for work to be fired, particularly at busier times of year. Large quantities of work, or work that is larger in size or shape, may take longer than our standard two weeks to fire. We ask that you keep this in mind when working to deadlines – we’ll do our best to accommodate should you need work by a certain date.
To hire the whole kiln for firing the prices are the following:
Bisque Firing (1000-1060 degrees) – £50
Glaze firing (1200-1240 degrees) – £70
