This new class led by Blair Leeson is the first of it’s kind at Dundee Ceramics Workshop!
The class will take 3 sessions where Blair will show you how to make earrings and necklace pendants using various techniques.
The first session will focus on rolling out slabs and cutting shapes to be used for jewellery pieces. During this first class, pieces may be decorated using slips and scraffito technique can be used to draw in designs.
Between the first and second session, pieces will be bisque fired. Blair will show you how to decorate further, if needed, with underglaze paints and pieces will be glazed.
During the final session, wire, chains, clasps and beads will be added to the final-fired jewellery to make them into wearable pieces.
This class is perfect for the lead up to Christmas time; you can make presents for your loved ones, or a wee treat for yourself to brighten up the winter season!
*under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
