Looking for the perfect coaster to sit a nice warm cuppa on top of? We have just the class for you!
Join us in this 2-hour workshop where you’ll be introduced to slip trailing and sgraffito – two very exciting methods used to decorate clay! This class is open to all skill levels and everyone will be able to make a set of 6 coasters to take home with them.
The class will start with dipping slabs into a slip as a base layer then moving on to scratching into the surface or painting on top. It’s up to you whether all of your coasters follow a theme
or if you would like to try something different on each one. There are so many possibilities with slip we look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Your finished pieces will be dried, fired and glazed with a clear glaze by our lovely
technicians and will be ready for pickup in a few weeks.
*under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
