Join Caitlin Foulds during this 3 week course where you will learn how to make your very own selection of glass bottom dishes! First you shape the dishes using pinching techniques. Once these have dried for a week you can carve your dishes or add some colour using our range of slips. Finally, during the 3rd week underglazes can be used to add more details. Caitlin will then dip your dishes in a clear glaze and sprinkle some glass in the bottom – this will melt during the final firing.

Class Timetable

Week 1 – Learning to make a pinch pot and creating a dish of choice such as a jewelry dish or decorative dish.

Week 2 – Surface decoration of the dishes in greenware stage + any slip design.

Week 3 – Underglaze decoration of bisque ware and the addition of some glass sprinkles that will melt in the gloss fire to create a glass bottom look.

Cancellation Policy:
If we do not have enough people booked onto a class 72 hours before it is due to start, we will cancel it and send full refunds to anyone booked on. 

If you are booked on and wish to cancel, you must let us know as soon as possible. 
We will issue a full refund until 7 days before the workshop is due to start. 
If you cancel 7 days or less before the workshop is due to start we will issue a 50% refund.
If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before the class is due we will not issue a refund. 

Exceptions: if someone tests positive for Covid or is asked to self isolate within the restricted cancellation period, they will receive a full refund, if evidence can be provided.
