Platters and Bowls (Beginner) – Jen Cook
Day Course – 1 session
£50 (£45 for members)
Saturday 12/11/22 between 10:00 – 13:00
Join our workshop to create a fabulous bowl or platter that would look perfect
on your dining table. The session is designed for all skill levels, so even if it’s
your first time with clay, everyone will be able to leave with something they
can be proud of.
During the workshop you can choose from a range of moulds and formers to
make a slab built bowl or platter. You can then decorate this however you
want; carve it, add decorations, imprint patterns, stamp it or use underglazes
and slips to add colour – the choice is yours.
If you have a particular bowl or platter at home which you’d like to replicate,
bring it with you and we’ll see if we can use it as a mould too.
Your piece will be dried, fired and glazed with a clear glaze by our skilled
technicians, and will then be ready for you to collect and use later.
We all know someone (or are that person) who loves finding the perfect treat for their pet. So why not join us in this hand building workshop to create a personalised pet bowl or two for your favourite furry friends. The session is designed for all skill levels, so even if it’s your first time with clay, everyone will be able to leave with a pet bowl that their pawsome pals will be proud of.
