Light up your life with a ceramic lantern that you’ve created with your own two
hands! The session is designed for all skill levels, so even if it’s your first time
with clay, everyone will be able to leave with a lantern they can be proud of.
In this class we will use hand building techniques of slab and coil building to
create lanterns. This session is designed for everyone, right from the
complete novice, and we will have templates available, however you can also
go free-form to create a totally unique shape. Once created you can choose
how you want the light to come through and punch or cut decorative shapes.
You then decorate with underglazes and coloured slips.
Your piece will be dried, fired and glazed with a clear glaze by our skilled
technicians, and will then be ready for you to collect and use later.

Cancellation Policy:
If we do not have enough people booked onto a class 72 hours before it is due to start, we will cancel it and send full refunds to anyone booked on.
If you are booked on and wish to cancel, you must let us know as soon as possible.
We will issue a full refund until 7 days before the workshop is due to start.
If you cancel 7 days or less before the workshop is due to start we will issue a 50% refund.
If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before the class is due we will not issue a refund.
Exceptions: if someone tests positive for Covid or is asked to self isolate within the restricted cancellation period, they will receive a full refund, if evidence can be provided.
