Handbuilding

£235 (£212 for members)

Join Jenny Rae during Intro to Hand Building where you will learn and develop hand building skills whilst creating two forms – a coiled pot which can become a lamp base, lidded jar or planter, and a geometric form created from slabs of clay. The course will be split into two halves, one for each piece that you will create.

During the first half we will use coil building techniques to create an enclosed form, around 25cm tall (or taller if you wish!) which can become the base of a table lamp, a lidded vessel or a planter. During the second half, using paper templates made by yourself, you will use slab building techniques to create a geometric vessel.
