BLOCK 2 – Saturday’s from the 03/02/24 – 02/03/24 between 11:00 – 16:00 (first, fourth & fifth classes 11:00 – 17:00 | 5 weeks)

BLOCK 3 – Saturday’s from 13/04 – 11/05 between 11:00 – 16:00 (first, fourth & fifth classes 11:00 – 17:00) | 5 weeks

Creating iconic characters, eye-catching props and captivating movie monsters is a process that often starts with sculpting in clay. Join local sculptor and practical effects artist Keith Robson in an exciting new clay sculpting course that unlocks these secrets to Hollywood’s special effects industry. Keith will take you through the step-by-step process of making your very own wearable character mask; using the same methods and techniques used to create some of your favourite and most memorable movie characters and effects.

Currently the only character sculpting/mask making workshop in the UK!

• A finished, fully painted and wearable rubber half mask – Made entirely by you! This can be worn or displayed on the wall or mantle
• Your completed plaster production mould – Allowing you to easily make multiple copies of your mask at home!
• The insights, knowledge and skills to develop a new and exciting hobby!

*Please note Latex products are used in this course and therefore will not be suitable for anyone with a latex allergy

Cancellation Policy:
If we do not have enough people booked onto a class 72 hours before it is due to start, we will cancel it and send full refunds to anyone booked on. 

If you are booked on and wish to cancel, you must let us know as soon as possible. 
We will issue a full refund until 7 days before the workshop is due to start. 
If you cancel 7 days or less before the workshop is due to start we will issue a 50% refund.
If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before the class is due we will not issue a refund. 

Exceptions: if someone tests positive for Covid or is asked to self isolate within the restricted cancellation period, they will receive a full refund, if evidence can be provided.
