Advanced Wheel Throwing is perfect for those who can comfortably throw basic shapes and are looking to create more advanced pieces. Through research, design and experimentation, this course will focus on the techniques required to be able to create specific vessels such as lidded jars, butter bells, large vases and platters. You’ll also be introduced to advanced trimming techniques which will enable you to trim galleries in jars, using trimming to incorporate decorative patterns, and how to use a chuck to center a piece on the wheel. During the final session of this course, you will explore surface decoration using underglazes and glazes to paint designs on the vessels you have created during the last 5 weeks.

Cancellation Policy:
If we do not have enough people booked onto a class 72 hours before it is due to start, we will cancel it and send full refunds to anyone booked on. 

If you are booked on and wish to cancel, you must let us know as soon as possible. 
We will issue a full refund until 7 days before the workshop is due to start. 
If you cancel 7 days or less before the workshop is due to start we will issue a 50% refund.
If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before the class is due we will not issue a refund. 

Exceptions: if someone tests positive for Covid or is asked to self isolate within the restricted cancellation period, they will receive a full refund, if evidence can be provided.
